There is nothing more annoying than carefully saving a bookmark but finding the page to be dead upon returning to it.
Fortunately there is a solution in the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. This site stores a history of web sites and webpages. You can request pages be saved or be able to see if the page you seek has been archived using bookmarklets. Bookmarklets are small pieces of code that can be added to the bookmark bar of your browser.
The most useful two are:
- Save page
- See dead page
Both bookmarklets can be found in the link.
